Yes? An individual can't choose to revolutionize the shipping industry themselves but they sure as hell can choose a car that's not as polluting and less of a hazard to pedestrians. That's very much a personal choice that I&#

1) this isn't a Ferrari, the article literally describes this car as an anti-Prius 2) even the most polluting Ferrari, which according to this page (1) emits 385g/km , is still almost a quarter less polluting than this car (506 g&

Funny, living in cities that prioritize other modes of transport (biking, buses, trains, etc) has drastically improved my quality of life, as opposed to places that prioritize cars and inevitably end up being traffic-locked hellholes.

This one [0] references omicron specifically, noting that though omicron is better at evading immunity, vaccines still helped. [0] https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2788485

Where are you getting the information for this claim? The vaccines certainly reduce your chance of catching it, and though vaccinated individuals may have similar viral loads to unvaccinated people at peak, the period of time that they'

You clearly don't know much about obesity or simply don't care. Either way, if you're truly invested in the public health implications/strategies for obesity, you're welcome to look into it. :)

And if your response is to compare it to presumably racist/homophobic statements, I'd say the same of your approach.

I don't know, is there a free two-shot regimen to help deal with obesity? Also, last time I checked, hospitals weren't running out of ICU beds thanks to obesity.

I think if we're supposed to treat the position against vaccination being effective as "not stupid", we ought to hear reasons why that is.

My guess is that it's for the firmware TPM? That's the only sort of thing I'd think of that's CPU-specific.

I dunno man, both me and my mom have been mugged before and the police didn't help. Same with when my car was broken into and someone tried to break my front door lock. People make this argument all the time but I fail to see how the p

You're right on the mark. A lot of articles scare-mongering about defunding the police point to numbers in places that haven't seen any defunding (quite the contrary, many of them have had boosts to their budgets, as usual).

It's not a bug in the PSP itself, it's a bug in the Windows driver for it. According to the security bulletin [0], it's due to a misconfiguration of DACLs (which is Windows specific), so I don't think it affects Linux us

I don't know if you're being sincere or just trying to gotcha it, but Ubuntu has had support for this for ages as part of DKMS [0]. It generates a key and registers it with the firmware during setup if secure boot is on, and it si

I wouldn't be shocked if it used BPF probes or something like that. A kernel module is possible, too, especially if they're targeting Ubuntu with DKMS.

Yeah, it is! People thinking they don't need the vaccine are contracting COVID and acting like human petri dishes for new variants to arise from. It's also ignoring the reality of COVID aftereffects (like parosmia) that affect you

I really don't understand why we insulate landlords from investment risk so much. At the end of the day they can sell the place to mitigate their losses. What recourse could renters have?

Yeah, I had a DIY car bluetooth system set up via some simple pulseaudio configs and a read-only boot setup but the one outstanding issue it had was the lag. I wonder if I'd have more luck using this.
