The complaints about allocating a percentage of IPv6 addresses for certain usages are a bit silly. Yeah, 1.271% of the addresses are private addresses. IPv6 has 340 trillion trillion trillion possible addresses. IPv4 has 4.2 billion.

You can remove Microsoft's certs from the trust store used by the board, though. You can choose to keep them to facilitate dual boot with Secure Boot on, but you can also choose to eject them from the trust store. Sure, they're lo

Yeah, hemming and hawing over whether or not an x86/64 PC can disable Secure Boot in 2020 is a bit silly when it's been a certification requirement by Microsoft for ages

I actually really enjoyed learning about secure boot keys and TPMs and all when I was setting it up on my machine. Support for managing keys varies by board; some, especially older ones, don't let you do much, if at all, especially fro

I've seen some similar stuff with that too, yeah! Stuff like https://github.com/WAVM/WAVM is really cool, though I imagine this may be lighter (no LLVM dep)? You could also do something like a full system VM using
