That sounds very cool. What kind of solar power product are you using? Where can I buy one online?

Agreed. It sounded boring at first, I'm not very interested in sushi. But when I realized it was about honing your craft and becoming good at something, I realized the lessons in this movie could apply to any field, and it became very fas

That's a smart dude, I'm surprised I haven't heard of him earlier. But I can't help but think he would seem twice as brilliant if he had a neckbeard :)

Agreed about the relevant content. I have no interest in joining a startup, but I spend more time on HN than any other site. Discussions on CSS, Rails, cryptography and dozens of other interesting subjects are always interesting and keep

But who can afford them? I went to Barnes and Noble a week ago, browsing the new release section, and the two books that looked interesting that I thought about buying cost $28 and $26. I quickly put them back and decided to investigate t

I don't write down passwords, I write down password hints. For example, "b + 7 + z" could equal baby753zyxw. A single letter can signify a word/string, and a single number can signify a larger number. I have about 20 strings memorized th

I think you have a good point. I grew up never hearing anything negative about college, only positive things. All the adults I knew, when I was young, who went to college had nice houses, cars, vacations, etc. Then me and some friends we

Reminds me of the time I was looking through a page wondering how the designer got the greys to look so good. I was surprised when I saw the css class called "bluish-grey", and I suddenly realized he had been using a blue tint and I hadn't

Yeah, and a couple days ago I had to hit that button about 20 times before I got one I could decipher. I was about 1 or 2 clicks from giving up.

Yeah, I sometimes listen to a real estate show on Saturday on the radio, and the guy says basically the same things. It is always the right time to buy.

I once saw what I at first thought was light from a helicopter one night, then it turned a tight angle and shot off toward space. I thought for a second that maybe UFOs were real, then I realized I was close to a military base. There is p

Maybe it was too much text. Once you get over 2 words, the less it looks and feels like a button to someone in a hurry. "Reedem Living Social Coupon" may have just been too long, maybe "Redeem Now!" may have been better.
