I use O&O shutup 10 to shut down cortana, telemetry, and other minor annoyances (mostly because I like video games). Maybe that's why it's been so smooth? And rebooting every other week? You mean on a very regular and predicta

Very much disagree. If you pay attention at all to security you'll always hear stories of that one client who hasn't done security updates in 3 months (or 3 days) and gets taken out by the inevitable "exploit Wednesday"

In regards to whether or not a good location is more desirable today than 5, 50, or 3000 years ago it definitely is. Reminds me of a story I found about Greyhound going down in my neck of the woods. https://www.theguardian.com&#x

While I can say I have the experience of not 'growing' at times (now), I would never say that's the weed's fault. Mostly because I've felt the exact same thing before ever smoking weed (I didn't smoke until my

There is no way sort of some magical overclocking that a 1070 runs everything at 60 fps+ at that res. It has trouble at 1440p with many games. Note the minimum fps (which is the key factor): https://www.tomshardware.com/revi

I've always considered chick the exact same as dude. It's just a synonym for girl/lady. If used improperly it can be offensive, but then I'd argue any sentence you can think of where it's used improperly you could r

Apparently with 'chick' it dehumanizes women, and with ms/miss it's something to do with the fact that you're implying they're young and/or a mistress? I honestly have no idea where people come up with thi

In my case I've been publicly shamed once or twice because I'm not up on what the latest generation finds offensive. Maybe that's just what getting old is though. Apparently we're not allowed to say 'that one chick

Most companies I've worked for (including a bank) you'd be gone the next day. Monitoring is so rampant right now. It's disgusting.

If the courts are saying yes there has to be a justifiable reason. A crime has to have happened. It isn't the 'if you don't have anything to hide...' argument at that point, it's 'if you don't have a crime

The update that deleted files wasn't ever an automatic one. You would have had to manually update. Fingers crossed they didn't mess up another. Seems unlikely.

Bots won't often have a viewpoint. Russia isn't pushing 1 side or the other with these things, but creating mass hatred by taking as extreme a view (left or right) as possible. They're built to pit people against each other,

Trump very well may be fascist. He seems to want America to be more like North Korea anyway. And what was the context of your comments? Maybe copy/paste? Genuinely curious.
