Two things I did and always do: Code things that solve real problems you want to solve. The harder the problem, the better you'll get in the language and as a programmer in general. Second, look at existing open source, well written co

The thing is, we're carbon based lifeforms. They're not. Our bodies are on our visible spectrum. Theirs may not be. They don't hide themselves. We just mostly can't see them with our physical eyes, and with our tools.

That may be the case with them. But there's thousands of reports and accounts. If you read enough of them you'll see the consistency. Of course there's discrepancies, but the base elements are consistent.

Most people fail to realize their purpose. They want to give, not to take away. They want to be of service to us. Most of them anyway. Some of them only want to learn of our ways since we're so different. And a minority of them want to

From what I understand of their motives after reading so much about it from hypnosis sessions and encounter accounts: They're not here to harvest resources, or to take anything from us. At least most of them aren't. They're h

It's all about the circumstances. I don't see myself working for a company at 40. Only to myself. I was always a lone coder. I like to learn from and teach others but hate working in groups in the same project (and God forbid the

Even if I were to be completely skeptical and/or in denial about Aliens existence, on the contrary, no one can say there isn't any evidence. Apart from being mathematically completely unlikely we're alone in the Universe, if

You can learn to program in a month or less. But it takes 10 years to actually put out quality code that is easy to maintain, readable and efficient in CPU and memory allocation. It took me a little less than that only because I was a code

I was reading this post and salivating. Delicious. Godot is my favorite engine right now, and for me the very best. It just clicked with me. I tried pretty much all of them. And did my fair share of personal engines through the years. Godot

Maybe someday we will have only a base simple VS Code and be able to extend it to do anything we want with plugins, and transform it into a full Visual Studio if we want. But not yet. As of now I only use VS Code for Typescript dev with Rea

We as humans communicate in many levels beyond speaking. So for me it's natural to think we can communicate in some way with animals and even with plants. I personally believe emotions can be transmitted, they don't "stay ins

It looks nothing like it. FOVO looks perfectly natural to me. Fish eye doesn't. I'm baffled by the comments on this post. This is not a fisheye effect at all. It's visually clear to me.

I at the same time laughed and got nauseated just by looking at that FizzBuzzEnterprise code LOL. I'm a minimalistic programmer myself, so the thing I hate the most in coding is over engineered code. Yes , it's a joke, but a joke
