For me it's a no go. These days, even 40h/week is too much. As I got older (33 now), I got less tolerant to long work hours. When I code I get super focused, hardly even move. So in a week I'll get 20h of focused work at most

Most will disagree with me but: Those "waking fantasies" are the result of dilligent meditation. They occur because the brain activates some senses which aren't normally used. But as mainstream Science knows little about them

Meditation doesn't bring psychological problems. If you already have then, it exarcebates them. Bring them more into focus. Don't start meditation practices if you have: Traumas, PTSTD, COD, etc. Meditation is the ultimate introsp

Yes, In C# you have to leave the idiomatic side somewhat to get the most performance. Though this is getting better in latter versions of C#, in which you get more low level coding features. But for me the fun part is doing exactly that. Co

In my earlier projects I always found myself doing exactly what Tailwind does, manually. As Tailwind does it much more throughly, I'm now 200% productive. I can adjust everything by just stacking classes. For me it's perfect but I

It will always be. Science is by definition always incomplete. Once you know how Everything in the Universe works, you already transcended Science and became a God.

Not a mistake. But merely something incomplete. Consciousness is the Way.

Yes. The only way to solve the riddle is to accept that everything comes from Consciousness.

I always preferred doing ECS at a higher level. Above core engine level. Using ECS to handle stuff like rendering never made sense to me. So for me, Godot's approach is the ultimate one. You model core engine compoments with inheritanc

I know it's possible, but this puts communication with patients in a coma into the realm of possible, scientifically.

Yeah I can see why some people find it creepy. I find it fascinating. Once you have your first "out of normal" experience, then you start looking into more.

There's plenty. You're just not looking for it, because you're not interested. That's ok. Just don't say that there's no evidence, say that you don't care.

The number of stories of alien encounters is so huge, and share so many common aspects between them, that at the minimum one must be open to the possibility. I mean, there's even official docs released by CIA and etc. The problem is, f

I've been thriving in fact. The thing is, if you aren't happy with your job, working from home will be even worse, since you're isolated and can't cloud the fact that you're unhappy by messing around with your colle

That's why I mentioned the blocks. Everything can be explained. But we as humans in our current state can only understand a very limited portion of everything.

Yeah, everything can be explained. The only blocking factors are language to express it and/or knowledge to understand it.

Yeah, if you talk about humans as intelligent self aware beings there's been humans here on Earth for several hundreds of thousands of years. That's what I gatter after reading several books in this theme.
