I'm not a beekeeper, and sure, the modern hives are also optimized for productivity and easy access(bees are forced to produce more honey than they would naturally produce) -- but hives entrances have certain dimensions taken from natu

My running theory is that western society is built around depriving men of certain emotions that say "you are good enough as you are and should be appreciated just as you are"; be that touch, sex (how many times have I heard this

It is sad and it robs (mostly) men of those calming and grounding human emotions. When I had COVID-19, I was taken by an ambulance to the hospital. I was wearing two masks duct taped to my face and the paramedic was wearing one of those whi

I get what you are saying, but it just proves that touch is vilified in the western world. Touch is extremely important for the development of the newborn, and I'm sure it is for the wellbeing of adults; just because we can do without

Just like "new study shows people are shedding coronavirus for months" when they are just saying people test positive for RT-PCR tests, without trying to cultivate the virus from those tested as "positive for months".

Hives are already a protective bubble, if the bees could make it more secure, they would. We could make lasers driven by ML to identify the hornets and shoot them down as they approach a hive, but that would be really expensive :)

Because a lot of people, the kind that matter politically, don't like to sit and think of concise messages, actions and implications, in fact, don't like deep thought at all, they just like to interrupt, ask stupid questions witho

Offtopic: is it just me that can't comprehend this title? I'm not a native english speaker, but this has happened all too often to me in the recent past and I'm thinking if I should be worried.

What is wrong with locking on "this" ? Making the locks public, I sort of get (like making any field public) -- you have multiple locks, you need to ensure they are accessed in a certain order and if you make them public, you cann

Why do you find that garbage? The human hand sensors/fine muscle control is insanely good. I don't think we are remotely close building anything that general-purpose and that precise.

Also the R&D budget for self-driving cars is bottomless. There's a limit to the R&D budget for assembling THIS year's iphone, above which it's just better to use humans.

My point was -- if gravity is not a force, it does not require a force carrier so there is no point for gravitons to exist.

I did not yet find a source for 300mcg slow release, I take 300 mcg vanilla melatonin. I take melatonin in syrup/drops form -- it is jus that I take 2 or 3 drops (150mcg each) instead of 10 or 20, as is advertised. I was saying that I&

Try 300-450 mcg of melatonin -- I get 5 hours of good sleep this way. I hope I can find some slow release, 300mcg melatonin to take after my melatonin drops to extend this great sleep to 8 hours.
