It’s interesting though… it’s still worth something to thieves, they still can recycle the screen, buttons, case etc. I’ve had my iPhone stolen in recent years too, people can’t resist. Don’t get me wrong, it does feel good to stick it to t

I’m curious what RealPage gets out of all this. Based upon the alleged activities it sounds like price fixing to the layperson but why? Realpage should just be concerned with keeping their saas customers by making a good product. Coordinati

This is interesting because I watch my wife who is a professional actor memorize long plays with truly mind boggling preciseness. Although understanding meaning is probably pretty important, for someone to truly be “word perfect”, meaning i

Everything is an evolution and everyone wants to be the next form of that evolution, even if it’s not. Marketing is always going to be one step ahead and once we actually do achieve what the last generation is selling, someone new will be s

I’m also curious which part of your auto or home insurance policy may call out space junk as covered or not. Maybe similar to a plane crashing into it.

I think a good interview test would be “design the buttons for a microwave” and see if they think about the fact that it displays time and needs to be changed every six months. These are the types of things a software engineer would be figu

I think they are trying to make the law more reasonable because there were police officers writing tickets for absurd stings. A person would step into the road and everyone would get tickets in the intersection. WA law seems rather convolut

Last year I caught this footage of a driver that hit a cyclist and they were fully visible. The police determined the driver technically wasn’t at fault because they had the right of way but humans drive incredibly unsafe. https:/

As a native Sacramentan and boater, you can definitely get from the Sierra to the bay. Would you take your boat out to get around dams? (Lake Natoma dam, Folsom’s dam, etc). If you wanted and could do that, you positively could do the ride.

No one likes working on lame projects, I feel like canceling projects is a symptom of the engineering driven product culture of a place. Maintenance and flat growth is not something I personally like to work on. These products aren’t cancel

Converted my house to heat pump last year and seen a full year of what the cost savings look like. Saving 50% over gas in the winter, saving 30% in the summer over my old AC. I don’t miss the furnace firing up and the noises it would make w

Based upon the amount of comments here this must be a controversial comment but I can’t imagine how you do this. With one toddler, she can barely make a 1 hour trip let alone 11 hours. I could use an electric vehicle with a 90 mile range fo
