I’m including that. We still need the same DBA and now we have numerous AWS cert people. More cost and not necessarily more clue I have found.

I’m using an ass end M1 mini with a 27” 4K Iiyama monitor, an Apple magic touchpad and Durgod K320 keyboard. It’s my favourite computer set up so far in all the years I’ve been doing this. I don’t want another back and neck killing laptop i

I risked it on an 8gb mini and quite frankly i can’t bend it even if I try. Only thing it’ll probably die on is running VMs which I’m not going to do any more. They can live in DigitalOcean. One liner review: this is the only computer I’ve

Yeah this is going to be a massive win for shipping resource dependencies. Genuine single file static linked applications is such a massive win for deployment and management.

Absolutely can’t wait for this. I want to do some performance and memory usage comparisons.

Yeah migrating to AWS is not cheaper. It never is. It’s a complete fucking lie to be honest. I’m actually dealing with an issue where one RDS instance in AWS costs more over three years than the entire infrastructure and software investment

No they wouldn’t. They’d fuck up the same stuff in the cloud. I’ve seen it too many times already.

That actually made me laugh out loud because I can’t get the T495s I am trying to sell to talk to my wifi at the moment.

Thanks for the honest review. From the little I got to play of it, you hit the nail on the head.

Safari + DDG here. That has currently the best compromise of posture and usability IMHO. I was using "new edge" before which is no better. And firefox before that.

I was going to move to the Radeon side of things. Perhaps that'll help... assuming I can get one!

On it :) I've watched the first three since I posted that.

Crashing here constantly. What GPU/CPU combo do you have? Seems to be rather sensitive to that. I've had no issues with any other games on this PC. 3700X / B550M / GTX 1660 here.

Good. It's a buggy pile of crap on PC at least. I got a refund on Steam for it.

Get the iPhone. Everything just works. I have the non mini 12. Its damn near as perfect as it’s going to get.

by qz2 6y ago
Indeed. I’ve considered selling mine though and buying one again when it all gets cheaper at some point.

We didn't know Dell did them either until we couldn't get a PO signed off for a more expensive one and ended up talking to a sales guy at Dell. So yep completely agree on the discoverability thing.

Thanks for taking the time to write that up - genuinely appreciated. Some good points. I've watched Discovery, Enterprise all the way through but not DS9 so that covers some gaps.

The point is more that nothing will change if they blink out overnight.

My wife has money and time. It's an aspirational purchase for her but she never gets motivated to read the things. Me, I have a kindle and have read everything on it.

I've got a stacked 64Gb Dell XPS 5550 and an ass end M1 MacBook Air. I'd rather use the Air any day. But I'd rather just use my desktop M1 Mini than both. It has a 27" screen and a proper keyboard (Durgod K320) attached

Also the premise, plot and set were dire too. I think the only bit that made any sense was the section 31 stuff in the later film.

Actually at this point I don't know anyone who uses social media applications. My kids, well teenagers, use iMessage and SMS and coordinate on Discord (that's not really a social network). My wife uses word of mouth and local refe

Yeah if you’re going to do this and forget such things you might as well use a diode and resistor and be done with it. It’s no worse than this circuit.

Why it failed is because they sold out. I really think everyone should just say “fuck this”, abandon it and throw the time at LTS Debian. Red hat control way too much of the ecosystem at the same time so there needs to be a strong, stable,

Stick to the Essential lines and it's fine. The quality is also better than the generic fake brand crap that Tesco sell and it's the same price or better. Waitrose essential baked beans for example are waaaay better than any other
