I think the point of the article is that men feel empowered to especially awful on a platform like twitch. But you're totally right - we need to see this as what it is - constant, and ubiquitous.

I see it as the opposite - medical intervention is a last resort for doctors the way changing the codebase is a last resort for programmers.

The trick is to ban even the correct but (to a human) ambiguous patterns. In this case, I wouldn't let you do assignment on the same line as the conditional.

Men measurably impact the bottom line of insurance companies more. Actuarial math is not 'AI', there's no 'magnification of bias'. The whole point of the calculation is to eliminate bias so that the company makes so

There's almost 4 million employees in the fast food industry in the US, so the problem is a few orders of magnitude bigger. Also, what happens when the pool of jobs for unskilled workers dries up?

Do you think the government can protect the right of people by buying more missiles and tanks? Subsidizing more gentrified neighborhoods and private prisons? I think within a few decades UBI will be the cheaper road to go down. A doctor can

This guy seems to veer out of the way of the natural conclusion near the end: > The term “woman-child” lacks teeth, because damseling and self-infantilization are acceptable for women. He seems to think that the fact that women are infan

PIling on to say this title sensationalizes what was a very reasonable and good-humored exhibition of one person's small project. Hardly an alternative.

Also worth noting that the it's often the most disagreeable people who shield their actions with the label of Christianity. And of course, far too much blood has already been shed over declaring who a 'true' Christian is.

The fact that you're keeping track of your actual DOM and event handling at all? That's what I got sick of. Going from jQuery to React was a huge breath of fresh air.
