I was born and raised in deep Trump country, and have agree that most people don't take the time to understand the viewpoint of his supporters. Unfortunately, I also think that the deeper you dig, the more you realize it's an embrace of human selfishness. Trump doesn't have strongly held beliefs, he believes whatever -feels- right.
