I have a large number of GOP voters that voted for Biden because they believe Trump is an idiot. My opinion is that the party will reform under someone new. Trump is too old at this point to be relevant beyond 2024.

His policy platform came off as uninformed. Overly-naive in certain respects and overly-corporatist in others - appealing to neither side of the aisle.

In higher level tech jobs, we struggle to find good metrics to measure performance, and then in jobs where it's easy to measure performance with a clear metric - using it is controversial. Maybe the lesson is that when a metric becomes

This is a cynical opinion that isn't based on any facts. unless you have evidence of this "great resin code conspiracy"?

Burying plastic is likely the best solution anyway as it's a CO2 sink. It's a great way to sequester carbon.

The Resin code was designed to help with recycling to determine what can be recycled. It says so in the article you linked. It's the last column on the first chart.

Most recyclable plastic that's collected isn't even recycled anymore. We might be better off burying it as a carbon sink.
