The concert analogy is close but not perfect because the problem is that grouping necessarily puts you into premium seats. If they can sell aisle and window seats at a premium, you can't allow people to group for free without putting p

You're still going to get to where you want to go and you'll still get a seat. That's the service you're paying for. Disregarding the kidnapping part of your straw man: we also do already charge for priority disembark. T

You only get to fly to see your loved ones if you have enough money too. Ancillary revenue like seat assignment fees makes it so that more people can afford to see their loved ones.

I'm actually fairly upset when airlines _don't_ do this. They're just leaving money on the table. If you want to pick your seat, pay for it.

The "to" line is just a header and you can put whatever you want. The actual recipient is specified out of band (RCPT TO). This is how "bcc" works. Likely the To: line is some sort of mailing list in this case. The maili

The cardinality of one set is much bigger than the cardinality of the other one. Pantone 871 is mapped to #84754e. If you see #84754e and also get the instruction "use only Pantone colors", it is not ambiguous!

Your last sentence is just wrong. Pantone encodes thousands of colors. RGB/CMYK can encode references to as many (within-gamut, but you can also hack around this) colors as you want, typically millions, often billions. Sure, you might

It seems like people are misunderstanding the approach here. Let's say I want to print something in Pantone 123 (careful, Fluke might go after me!) I send over a design artifact that uses the color #ffc72b. Now, when it comes time for

That's... exactly the argument that I'm responding to in my original comment. My argument is there are billions of CMYKs to encode thousands of Pantones with. Just do the reverse mapping if you know it's supposed to be a Pant

Why is everybody insisting that the lookup table isn't 1:1? Can't you do a reverse mapping of "closest Pantone color to this CMYK"? There are only thousands of Pantone colors and as many CMYKs as you have bit resolution.

I don't get it. People seem to think that if you ban this practice, you'll get the premium package for free. That's not going to be the case. Currently, you can pay for heated seats all up-front or via a monthly subscription.

People still use antivirus in 2022?? I think it's well-understood that antivirus has somehow managed to be worse than not having it, as antivirus programs themselves often have vulnerabilities that make full system compromise easier. N
