Off topic, but I think that's the most beautiful illustration I've ever seen accompanying an article. And the animation - just wonderful. (I've visiting from my laptop. Assuming mobile version probably doesn't look the same.)

According to the article, one of the reasons they changed the company name is because it was hard for people to understand the old name when spoken verbally. Their new name seems to have the same problem. For example: Learndot: "Email me at

I like this. One thing I would add, is the ability for users to submit a YouTube URL (add a new video). For example, Mitch Hedberg[1] is my favorite comedian. I'd like to submit a clip of his in hopes you'll match me with women who like it.

There's an awkwardly worded survey question at the top of that article: "Do you know if your blood pressure is in the normal range?" It could mean "Do you have normal blood pressure?" or "Do you know your blood pressure?" I think grammatica

Tell landlords they can offer the service to tenants for $10/mo. Split proceeds 50/50. Call every landlord in town. Landlords love upselling tenants (parking spaces, storage space, etc.)

I can vouch for Kim's positive traits. He also has negative traits, as do we all - but I don't know much about them. However he was a customer of AdBrite (a large ad network I founded around 2000) and I spoke with him via Skype many times a

A good example of this being used is Facebook. Click a picture in your newsfeed, get a popup. Even though the hover shows a URL. Command-click it to open in new tab, as expected.

Zynga is a company that makes online games. And people often criticize Zynga for making games (online games, Flash games, Facebook games, casual games, etc.)

Startups are hard. Even big startups are hard. Zynga is startupy, even though they're public. There's a lot of schadenfreude on HN when it comes to Zynga. Articles about Zynga's problems regularly make it to the top of HN. Some people think
