This is your opinion. And people disagree with you. Presenting opinion as objective facts is counterproductive, no matter how strongly you believe something and think it is just. I’m not sure what your approach is to just say it’s a fact an

Is there some other market system that produced better music? This one has its flaws but it seems to be optimizing for a great variety.

I think it’s more of a function of mental leisure time. People like worrying about these things and wrapping up simple transactions (“I’d like to stream music this month for $10”) into some moral and ethical quandary as if they can resolve

I guess having your whole economy pretty wealthy based on fossil fuels and relying on US innovation in developing EV infrastructure helps. This kind of reminds me of those “I’m debt free and have $500k savings at 25” type posts where the se

That’s not how DoJ defines market. The relevant market isn’t the specific Apple device users, but all users and all their competing devices. This is typically how US antitrust law works as it is based on consumer harm. And that’s broad, not

You can hammer in a nail with a screwdriver. They’re both tools. But I’m stupid and/or deluded if I’m hammering in nails all day with a screwdriver. It’s useful to use the right tool for the right job. Tinder is designed for short term

I don’t think I’ve said my definition of “free,” but restricting who can distribute my software seems pretty non-free to me. I don’t think there’s a true, single definition, but I think maybe the closest to that would be https://

“Free” means something. If you want to stop people distributing your software through a site that has ads, then it’s not “free.” “Open source” means something too. The control people have is in using shared definitions. Language is malleabl

Congrats. It does happen but it’s the outlier. People also hookup on eharmony. But the purpose of Tinder is to find short term or one time hookups. And that’s perfectly ok. But doing studies about long term relationships on Tinder seems odd

I have never used a government web site that was better than a marginal ad driven site. I can barely pay my trash bill and can’t imagine a dating app run by any aspect of US federal, state, or local government.
