Sending and receiving money on the internet is such a brilliant idea. Just goes to show you that people are taking the World Wide Web more seriously these days. Won’t be much longer and you’ll be able to order music CDs and VHS tapes and ha

Yeah this isn’t surprising, I’ve had this happen to hackintoshes over the years. Apple has always had the ability to ban serials from iMessage afaict, and it also (seemed) to be some automated process. It was frankly pretty risky to tell pe

Pro tip: just don’t respond to the “good morning” messages. If they don’t follow up it wasn’t important anyway.

I’ve had it never charge, and sit reliably at 80% for weeks. Then when I unplugged it the schedule was ruined and it reverted to charging at night. Overcomplicated for no reason lol

Yeah there’s been a ton of growth in Monterrey, it feels very new and modern like all the development in Austin. I’m very optimistic about northeast Mexico.

Yeah I’m currently doing data work at a retail company. It’s not bad at all. They’ve thrown money at seemingly every product that can be purchased with a support contract: Databricks, snowflake, Kafka, presto, rstudio, tableau, tibco, infor

Yeah a huge portion of the geological record is missing because of gigantic glaciers grinding it all down. Of course that was a really long time ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Unconformity

This made me laugh hard. When I worked at Oracle they’d do this in internal meetings if it was outside your immediate team! A dozen people saying “I am a System Analyst II for Managed Services” like goddamn who fucking cares

There was also SFU which was a first party “BSD on Windows” I had to use it in the past and it’s genuinely awful. MobaXterm was the best before WSL (imo) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Services_for_UNIX
