I am so angry that Toyota required me to sign up for their connected services to use remote start. What a joke. The leadership at the company responsible for this should resign.

I’m wondering how this stands up against Garmin’s MIPS display fitness watch. I love GShock design, but Garmin seems to be winning the fitness enthusiast market. This Gshock watch is a collaboration with Polar.

I saw a meme recently that illustrates this well: “Old way: 2 hours to write code, 6 hours to debug code. New way: 5 minutes to tell chatgpt what to code, 24 hours to debug”

Make sure IEP is covered as part of the law and the budget is allocated adequately? This is a hypothetical law, you can suggest whatever you want for the sake of discussion.

Instead, allow for a voucher system where parents can apply the equivalent amount of money the public school spends and apply it towards private schools. Make it easy for teachers to start their own school or coop to compete for vouchers. D

Yes. There was transparency about hiring plans and how low CoL areas were targeted. I would expect transparency on the other end of employment.

The problem is when you hire those high CoL areas, extract value by training others, and then discard them. This will make high CoL workers more hesitant to join a globalized employer.

There’s a lot of value in those high CoL areas. A lot of concentrated knowledge and skill is in the Bay Area.
