You also need a large enough user base/level of traffic where releasing to a small percentage of your users would even uncover a problem. I've had similar problems with A/B testing where a low amount of traffic means I would

The problem is then what do you do with low voter turnout? The article says that this election has in previous years resulted in <1% of eligible voters. That is clearly untenable.

Why is it unfortunate? The article didn't seem to say whether this change was good or bad, although I would assume a decrease in inflammation would be good?

You can't squat and redirect subreddits to external sites. I have personally been granted mod of a subreddit that had been redirecting to another website. Its against the rules and the subreddit will be banned at which point anyone can

What are the obvious reasons? Many game devs would absolutely love to have UDP available on the web in order to do proper networking.

Is Vulkan the response to the fact that single cores aren't getting faster and games need to move towards multithreading? Is there an analogous solution for other systems like physics, collisions or pathfinding?

You would definitly need http/2 to use this, I've tried using imports in vanillajs with supported browsers its sloooooooow. I do wonder whether you could leverage server push for this and whether that would help.

Unfortunately userchrome.css breaks frequently with firefox updates and is a pain to maintain since it is outside of the extension ecosystem. There used to be a great addon called ClassicThemeRestorer that got killed during firefox's t

Vimeo was so well positioned to beat out youtube back in the day. Stage6 had just shut down and vimeo was offering HD while youtube was stuck with low res. But then they made the mistake of banning video game content for not being artsy eno

I don't think Twitch Prime has the ad-free benefit anymore, they moved that into Twitch Turbo. The ads are also definitely stitched into the HLS playlist as segments, so even if you were to block them you would see a black screen for t

This is actually interesting right now because Microsoft, Google and Facebook all seem to be trying to get into streaming. I would definitely like to see more competition in this space so that Twitch doesn't get complacent.
