I never forget to turn off my phone, probably because I'm so used to pushing the off button when I lay it down because I disabled auto lock on my first iOS device (1st gen iPod Touch). Maybe it's better now (by registering attenti

I have auto lock disabled, because I'm the one to decide when I don't need to look at my screen anymore. But that's different from not requiring faceid/passcode upon unlock.

As far as I see the currently best performing solution [0] does not account for hash collisions and therefore probably generates wrong results if enough different cities are in the dataset. Or am I missing something? [0] https://

I feel quite confident skipping a few songs on CarPlay. If I needed to do this on my phone, it would be way more dangerous. Now of course not interacting with the media player at all would be safest, but we’re talking about humans here, so

Can we please first analyze the problem before we call for regulation? Are touch screens really causing accidents or are they just inconvenient? I hate touch screen controls in cars for things that are adjusted during driving like everyone

I never got ABL to work with marlin, despite trying all possible configurations and versions, so I just did it the same way you do. With Klipper, it just worked when I first installed it. Never looked back.

I don’t understand why people seem to „want“ this to be real. It obviously isn’t. The effect cannot be explained by rolling shutter and therefore would involve actively stitching together multiple shots. This would be huge feature that Appl

Code that identifies if anything is stuck under the car would be useful for a lot of cases but especially if an accident already has happended. Besides that, hard edge cases will always exist and can only be solved by a human (or an AGI?) i

I think you are underestimating how a well known „secure“ label (or lack thereof) could influence customer behavior. It’s not that they don’t care - they (understandably) lack deeper knowledge and therefore don’t base their purchasing decis

I don't see what people expect. The iPad is a portable touch-first device with a small screen and a locked-down operating system. The first two are by-design for the tablet form factor, so this will never change. And I don't expec
