The point with the cable is that extension cables aren't allowed by the USB standard, so Apple created a cable that would only work with their specific device for which they guarantee that it works. I've tried the extension cable with other

I don't really care anymore about the design of Google Reader. The only thing I use it for is for syncing my read items between my different reader apps (like Reeder for iPad). As long as they keep supporting that I'm fine, but this seems l

I understood it as meaning that you can use it for at least 3 hours, but if they have 'time over' you're allowed to use more. Not sure though.

Interesting idea, but the pricing is just much too complex. By having to choose between monthly/weekly, morning/day/evening and then number of hours there are perhaps 50 different plans available? I'm just too confused to make a choice.

I think only Android devices ship with >512MiB RAM. More RAM is more expensive and eats your battery. The iPhone seems to work fine with 512MB, perhaps it's just Android that needs it?

Amazon isn't really budget. The free tier is nice, and the tiny instances are priced ok, but beyond that they're quite expensive for a VPs. The nice thing with AWS is the scaling and the supporting infrastructure, but you do pay for that co

This doesn't sound at all like Apple. More likely, they'll determine which services are the best for which type of query, and you'll only be able to use those.

I wonder how they'll handle different grammar constructions in different languages. For example, in English, "Text my girlfriend that I'm coming home later" would send a message with "I'm coming home later". However, in Dutch, saying the sa

Hey, I tried your app but didn't order a card. Here's why: I had to manually enter addresses instead of being able to select them from my address book. This is really annoying, I'd rather have only the option to select pcontacts than being

Yes, but WIMAX is pretty much dead, even Sprint's dropping it for LTE. I just don't see Apple producing a new phone with WiMAX and having to test a completely different radio technology when they pretty much know it won't last for more than

You have to compare it to the alternative -- how many sales on Verizon / AT&T will they lose with this exclusivity? How many phones would they sell on Sprint if it was available there, just not exclusively?

I agree with GoDaddy being horrible, but this really isn't just their fault. Certificate revocation does exactly what it says. It's a technical term that everyone using SSL should know and understand the implications of. Their offer of crea

Yes, this is exactly what they're going to do. They've already said they'll update the firmware before the deadline to remove the scrolling behavior, so their phones won't get taken out of the stores. [1] Dutch: http://tweakers.net/nieuws/

The graphic is unfortunately not very clear, for example because the arrows can split midway. This way it looks like Microsoft is suing just one company without being countersued, while in reality they're suing three companies.
