Agreed, and it goes beyond that. We have a pretty poor reputation when it comes to dating (as heterosexual/bi men). Obviously, it's not "real" - a lot of us end up married or in relationships, but of all of the high payi

This is probably the best way to keep "motivation" up... and why I don't even start side projects. All of my "itches" can be scratched with existing products.

I can't speak for the NBA or Navy, but it's not true for RC. I was a pretty meh developer when I got in 2016. Technical questions in the interviews are a magnitude simpler than any job interview I've ever had. Most people don

Lol. I had a Zune HD. Opening the calculator app took half a minute... and that was pretty much the only app available. It was a cool device but there’s no surprise it got trampled by iPod Touch.

Facebook is where the antivax/5G/Bill Gates/anti-mask/etc movements flourished so it seems people don't care about anonymity any more.

I've been happy with Wipr on macOS and 1Blocker on iOS for years. In fact I think you can just use 1Blocker in both platforms now. Neither is as "good" as uBlock Origin but I don't really care.

We can't even suggest people wear masks without them saying we're taking their freedom away. Not way we're forcing people to save money.

If you're a front-end only developer not only do you use the same hammer (big framework) for all nails, the use of that hammer is what gives you job security and satisfaction. If companies switched to using old fashioned server-rendere

There’s an exponentially growing recruiting, training, and hiring industry based on developers who only know how to write fat JS frontends. I think everyone has probably experienced high growth in their company’s frontend team. Many develop
