If you're working for defense or weapons contracts you're supporting the industry that has kept us in the Middle East for almost two decades. I agree that it's often a moral grey zone but in this case it's pretty clear.

The current situation isn't a good barometer for WFH for two reasons: - Companies that previously laughed at the idea of WFH were forced to implement it without much time to prepare. Their technology, culture, and processes are bad. -

Commuting is the big time saver, but you can also do chores you'd relegate to the weekend or after work while WFH. Not always of course, but chores like a quick grocery trip, laundry, cleaning, errands in your immediate neighborhood no

This website was started by a venture capitalist firm and its original name was "Startup News". The user base certainly reflects that.

Don't play FPS much any more but HL1 (and Deathmatch) had a big impact on me as a child in terms of what video games could do for story telling and immersion. I hope younger people give it a shot.

I could see Apple offering 2FA as a core feature, at least on iOS. In fact, Apple should redesign Keychain into a user friendly, 1Password-lite product with 2FA built-in (1Password offers this too) or as a separate app that works with Keych

Not everyone wants to go live in another continent at 18, an expensive flight away, with no family or friends, different culture and perhaps different language? Plenty of reasons.

Seems like you're projecting or even self-hating. > For some reason for men its OK because all they do is work, but for women I'd rather my daughters have more human contact and nicer environment Also what does this even mean?
