Today the slogan for all big Americans tech companies is more like "we are going in this direction and you are probably dumb enough to just agree with our terms".

People will actually never say enough is enough. That's the sad truth of it. Humanity as a race has training from early age to follow authority, and no training how to recognize propaganda or how to deal with an authority trying to for

You are much more likely to burn out then to master it. Look at the age groups in software development. Most people get out of it before 40 because it's such a draining profession. Can you really even master something like software dev

At some point there will only be people who don't care at all about their privacy that use twitter, Facebook, Instagram... All these American services in "social" media.

I have actually never worked in a team where CI was actually needed. If it hadn't been there, files would instead just be copied to production manually. One step. Our industry is pretty crazy in the amount of tech it uses to move shit

Completely agree. Also smart people complicate things extreamly, probably because they want to push their skills and constantly learn more.

Hi nice you meet you. Im not going to take the covid vaccine so guess I'm an anti-vaxxer. I'm also an anti-smoker, anti-badfooder, and anti - crime kind of person. I've been living normally without lockdowns or masks for abou

For me it's the fact that I'm making the decision based on emotional factors. I don't trust big pharma and I don't trust the vaccines. Should be reason enough. There is plenty of things we don't trust in life, so we

Even if true, so what? It's their bodies. They should be allowed to choose, just like you are.

I think you are right. People won't change their minds about it. But the question is, should they be allowed to control what goes inside their bodies? In my opinion, the answer is a huge YES OF COURSE.

It matters very much if one company grabs all your data and combines it, vs lots of separate companies having small bits of your data.

This is morally wrong on so many levels. When people can't decide what goes into their own bodies, they are just farm animals to big pharma.
