Borrowed someones nexus [praise Duarte?] to check this... Text looks good, code snippets looks kinda crap. Not unreadable but not great either. Same page looks great on firefox so this is chrome shenanigans.

Remember when you could only download OSX executables from the Atom home page [1]? In my experience, projects that are OSX first often work horribly on other platforms (the poster child being itunes). Hence I switched to Visual Studio Code

The main takeaway from the article: Macron learned the lessons of the Hillary Clinton campaign, and immediately took control of the messaging and PR: Literally at the 11th hour, before the blackout would silence it, the Macron campaign iss

Given the target market (schools) I think not being able to install downloaded software is only a good thing. Also, did you see the performance demo? 10s was significantly faster than 10 Pro. Not sure about the $999 for the cheapest model h

Maybe not a fun decision but I think it is needed. Consider this not very uncommon scenario: 1. You just bought a laptop, time to install some software 2. Open Edge, search for "spotify", "vlc" maybe even "office&qu

Article summary: Q. How is ARM changing the automotive industry? A. Here is a fancy sales brochure, enjoy...

I think the past actions of these companies speaks for themselves. The question YOU should ask yourself is why you think ATT & comsat will do a 180 turn and stop their attempts to kill the free market after this.

Hackers are not enough, you would also need lawyers. Many many lawyers. Because ATT and Comsat would probably sue everybody and their uncles to stop such a project.

Can anyone explain to an outsider why this is disruptive? Are these significantly faster than the old x64 offerings? A lot cheaper? For that matter, has anyone done a real-world armv8 vs. x64 benchmark? -- edit: would like to test them myse

Could someone explain to me how this works and why a generic DSP or GPU is not enough? Also, are there any active open source projects in this field (DSP, GPU or video coded hardware)?

No, I don't feel this was a disparaging remark about a person. A guy makes a huge claim based on his very limited view of the market (while insulting everybody). I think I am in my full right to call him out.
