That’ll cause real pain for the management. Unless you pay near western market rates, you’re getting the bottom of the barrel in India or anywhere else, much like if you tried to hire US developers for even 50% of the market rate. The low p

Well yea, when I go on a work trip I tend to work a lot more those weeks because I’m not home. That doesn’t mean productivity during those two weeks are representative of normal.

There’s some data available for this in the YouTube dashboard, actually.

What's the alternative to ads? I pay for YouTube premium, and I just mute the sponsor segment ads in videos. I get good information and entertainment from those video creators, so I would like them to get paid to continue doing it.

I suppose they should stop trying to push me into their app then? Every time I visit their site, I have to ignore several messages about how it would be easier to do this in the Patreon app. It’s a mess they could avoid by sticking to a web

My “expensive” electric (battery) mower works for three mowings on my lawn and cost less than 6 months paying a lawn service. Perhaps someone with an acre needs a gas riding mower but anyone with the average sized yard probably can do elect

Sounds like an issue with the park regulations or smoking regulations allowing it in public. Perhaps it’s not the weed, but rather the dickhead wielding it in a park to the detriment of others.

It’s funny, when I get high on weed I race better in online sim racing. When I’m totally sober my record is much poorer. I’m not saying it’s right to drive in the real world while high or not, and I personally wouldn’t, but this is one anec

Isn't the storage kinda expensive? It's $15 per 10 GiB, which is ~10x more expensive than AWS SSD storage and ~100x more than bulk storage with an S3-like service. It's $1500 per TiB, which is a lot of money. I guess it might

Boeing is financed in large part by US gov spending, for one. I expect most shipbuilders in the USA are similarly financed by navy contracts.
