I meant seen as in seen it named. Just because the seven segment display is there doesn’t mean it’s named that on the box, while in the past there might be more stuff with those displays and it would be a callout on the box design possibly.

During world war two, German U-boats used to have issues with chlorine gas being produced from the batteries and it would flood the boat and kill everyone onboard.

Actually, the US military is successful more because they prioritize on the spot thinking and only deferring to the chain of command in specific circumstances. As much authority is pushed downwards to the lowest level possible. That’s why t

Lots of armchair admirals in here, but as a former naval officer your answer is the correct one. The pilot should have tried the flight controls, if I had abandoned ship because my displays turned off but we could still control the helm, I’

I bought the cheapest printer available, the Kobra Go I believe, and with very little tweaking I had it running well enough that I don’t care to tweak more. I owned a delta printer ten years ago which I spent $1200 plus another $600 in cust

And? What’s the point of comparing? Is there a prize to being the most disabled? There’s always someone who has it worse by some metric than you, there’s no benefit to setting up a disability podium and awarding prizes. BTW, your “pinky vs

You’ve taken the opposite of what I said. Everyone’s disability is a struggle. Everyone’s life is a struggle. We help each other to navigate life and don’t compare. Answer this: what’s the end goal of comparing disabilities? I’d argue it’s

Heck, they have exoskeletons today, so I guess quadriplegics should just get that and walk right? There’s one more disability cured!

You don’t compare disabilities, none are worse or lesser than others, it’s simply a disability. Anyone, even those with disabilities, who try and argue one type is worse off than another type are simply being ableist by trying to minimize o

Imagine telling a quadriplegic something like this, though. The neurodiverse, which ADHD is a part, are always being told we still need to measure up to the standards of the non-disabled in some form or another. It’s always about how we sho

The military wants the simplest things possible. The only thing you could even reasonably want to have a way to disable would be crypto-related systems. For weapons, heck, even nuke missile codes are set to 0000 or something similarly stupi

No! This attitude is why we’re moving to a low trust situation in the modern world: because no one holds any morals and values beyond “get what’s yours”. People shouldn’t treat other people like this! Name and shame them, OP.
