For the same reason that most Hollywood movies have incredible VFX and plots that are nonsense. Writing is HARD. It's one of the hardest things you can do, and being exceptional at it is rare, and even when you do it well people might

I am not trying to start a pissing contest-- just to point out how personal everyone's perspective is-- I remember it being quite fashionable in the early 90s in my area.

I have read that you can hire FedEx to transport a horse, and that they have a special plane that has a stable inside.

My tuition at a prominent UC in the late 90s (per quarter)... was $1200. Books probably added another $600 to that.

To be polite, this argument has never made any sense. There is nothing to be gained from having everyone stay home unless you're a sadist and a stupid one at that. Imagine what this exercise of "power" has netted this imagi

I can't think of a single thing on this list that is "solved." Your first example (FB/YT recommendations) is literally tearing our society to bits at the moment.

I agree actually, but the specification was "solved". I don't think AI has solved anything. It might be good at a couple things, but that's not what was asked.

This is my opinion, and mine alone (as near as I can tell). The real reason for inflation is this-- we bail out wealthy people who then go buy up assets poor people need to live to hedge against inflation. We also allow foreign investment
