I think it's not about regime change as it is about slowly tearing them apart so that they can consume the remains. Russia is enormous and most of it is untouched.

Good for them. They should cherish what little they have left. I've only visited England twice and there are hardly any trees in the wild. Well, at least compared to central and eastern Europe. Lots of green, mind you. Just not trees.

Life was hard before these sugars. Just a couple of years ago I spent a few months with people stuck in the late 2000s, technologically speaking. Their JS was your typical jQuery spaghetti from that time period. Did not have any fun explain

It's amazing how quickly you got downvoted. Feelings will be hurt. In any case, the abstract reads funny to me: "Nine preregistered studies (n = 4197) demonstrate that advantaged group members misperceive equality as necessarily h

Unless things have changed over the last few years, I think having 8/16 is a bit of an overkill for an OS this restricted. It says they all have 15W TDB but I'd hope that's just the just max they have been configured to work

Fair enough. I had no idea I wasn't talking to "maxerickson". The 20s and the request for an apology thing was aimed at that person's initial comment that I responded directly to. Your contribution did not ask for that.

Apparently you buy a lot more stuff than I do. I am painfully aware of the amount of perfectly good bottles and plastic containers I throw in the "recycle" bins every other week. Couple of half full reusable bags. Still less than

Yeah, I know at least a handful of people who would take every last bit of this at face value. Even early gems like "The world must be covered with beautiful, black asphalt." and "1.2 Why asphalt? Simply put, everything else

It really isn't unless looking at the world through the eyes of a "everything exists to be consumed by humans, preferably me and my family/friends" entity. Shortcut to dystopia, this.

I didn't want to get in an argument with with you because you seem to presume A LOT. So much "we" and "people" in your posts. This is one of the reasons your take frustrated me as much as it did. Mid 20s, still high

That would depend on their opinion. They way I see it, there are two option: - this person seriously believes the thing they said, which I find outrageous - they lied which is just as bad By all means, feel free celebrate your victory by th

Look, we all need to vent sometimes. I can certainly agree with this for "apps" but there's a lot on the web that should be accessible without js because it's just static content. If you haven't noticed, HN is worki

Indeed. All this talk about a proper diet without ever mentioning anything but animal flesh and fat. Can't be the excess food intake. Like too much sweets and meat. No. Fat people are not eating enough fat. It's so simple.

You're wrong. I used to run node + mongo on my 3B+ until it died on me one last time :( It could manage much, much more than that. Now, I haven't tried running Next on it but unless it's worse than Nuxt (which isn't all

That makes sense. Such a system would also have to include transportation, food, etc. It's probably a good move if the funding is there. France is wealthy enough I think.
