If you truly want to "protect the children" you should have no issue for the police to visit and inspect your, and all of your neighbors houses. Every few days. Unannounced, of course. And if you were to resist, you MUST be a pedo

Account sharing is never unethical. It's my account and I'll damn well give access to whoever I please. Services such as Netflix mitigate this by limiting the amount of concurrent use, which is fine.

Build machines generally want to be 'online' so they can connect to the internet. They want to connect to the internet so they can access services hosted on the internet. Many of those services use Cloudflare, Akamari or Github. I

Why would I want to buy a second VR headset to play some games, when the one I have is already perfectly fine? Keep in mind that playing Oculus games on the Index works fine using third party software, it's Facebook trying to DRM the h

Oculus requires the exact same beefiness of your PC as Index. If you're happy using the Oculus on-board processing, you might as well use a laptop from 10 years ago as your PC, it will have the same quality. If you actually want decent

Yes. Although Apple's walled garden is slightly less evil as it actually serves some vague security purposes, instead of solely profit.

Should've gotten the Index instead, really. It works so much better and doesn't come with Facebook's walled garden.

It's nothing new that Facebook has been destroying their VR platform due to their awful account integration. This part is just hilarious.

I actually agree, using a nice GUI to handle your merges is a godsend. If you know how to use it properly, and still know how to do more advanced operations as well.

All visual git tools I've used suck and wound up eventually corrupting the repo. Also I've noticed that all of my colleagues who learned git using these visual tools didn't actually learn git, and have no idea how to anything
