And defeating a CPU ID check is trivial. Companies selling hardware that is "Mac compatible" and profiting from that is a very different thing. Apple clearly cares about that.

Apple is unlikely to waste engineering resources and product resources on something they don't care about. Hackintoshes are largely an enthusiast phenomenon that doesn't overlap much with their core market of people willing to spe

It would just be stuck on the last x86 release of the OS. But even more likely is someone would port it to off the shelf ARM processors.

Your comment is typical of the wishful thinking that is going on right now. You didn't mention the virus once. The inescapable calculus is that the more people go back to normal, improving the economy, the more likely it is for the vir

How much weight should I give the opinion of someone who calls someone who disagrees with him "the pedo guy"? It's a serious question. Elon may run some successful companies, but beyond that his credibility has taken a beatin

Twitter has every right to say what the truth is. It has the right to free speech as much as anyone else. It also will be held to account for its speech under the law.

Your statement is an error in interpreting polls. Polls cannot tell you who will win the election, only the probability of each result. Trump has about a 30% chance of winning according to the polls. The polls themselves were no less accura

Never mind Twitter, it would do the same to all websites if it held. The internet would be destroyed overnight, at least in the US.

It's funny you should mention that, the idea had its own clause in the constitution (equal protection). This legislation is a bit of a joke and aimed at a certain audience. It's obviously illegal.

You seem to be blaming the EU for the choices freely made by Greece and the UK. The EU doesn't exist to coddle self-destructive nations at its own expense.

People have been warning about inflation for more than a decade, but here we are in another deflationary environment, even with the Fed throwing endless fuel on the fire. Inflationary expectations and wage growth remain low and the Fed has

It's not just the county, people want to stay home to avoid getting sick. Musk should be taking steps to improve virus safety on his lines instead of this sort of Trumpian vilification and lawsuiting. Obviously the later is much easier
