i love the features of resharper, but after all these years, the performance is still super awful when you have large projects. Every new version I give it a try to see if the perf problems are fixed, and every time I have to turn it off af

the biggest gotcha I've seen with C# multithreaded is the usage of the basic .NET Collections: Dictionary<K,V> and List<V> they will mostly work (like multiple threads reading, or 1 writes while another retrieves), except

agree. the coupon problem would be best fixed with atomic database transactions. in fact, an entirely synchronous, 1-user-at-a-time server wouldn't fix this, if there were two or more servers. and honestly, who would design any syste

I don't understand why Hapi doesn't get much love these days. It's a monolithic framework, which means it's extremely opinionated in how things are done, but also it means you don't need to go hunt down 3rd party p

does anyone know if the OP is talking about search ads, or display ads? I stay away from display ads because it's chock full of fraudulent activity, but even search ads I see about 90% lower conversions than organic search. so wonde

ok thanks for the feedback, you are right, and a lot of people want more control of the phantomjs process (or a long-lived process) so it is something I should consider more highly. I'll add it to my feature todo list. if you sign up,
