Right? It's interesting to see data "rust", if you will, over time just like a physical thing. How looking at stuff in the Wayback Machine, some decorative images might not load, some link might lead nowhere and in a way, it&

I like to mention soundcards as a great example of this. For almost 20 years, the sound chip included on motherboards is all most people need. Sure, there's a hardcore niche of enthusiasts who want to plug in their keyboards and whatno

I have no idea about this stuff, how far towards a jailbreak/softmod is this? Could this exploit be locked out on quasi-everyone's PS4 via a simple PSN Update?

Seriously. I thought the "Microsoft is evil" stance has become outdated and we'd rather look at Facebook and Apple, now. But it's like they've been trying to catch up, recently. The Windows 10 fiasco is textbook Mic

It's amazing how slow certain apps are, for example, on smartphones and how fine people are with it. Things that worked near-instantaneous on a desktop PC 15 years ago now take 5 seconds to load despite the hardware being way faster.

Twitter is ridiculous in that way. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm constantly baffled just how badly the site is layed out and how they keep making it worse. I still never understand who replied to who, where multi-part tweets start and end

Hear, hear. Instead of pushing for an alternative against data vampires like Google, they push their own weird cloud services ("Firefox Sync") and... videochat? Didn't they suddenly have some weird, pop-up-by-default videocha

So I'm getting a little wary of activist stunts like these but dammit, this is pretty much flawless. I see no way this does not either a) force the Uk Board of Film Classification to actually sit through this mind-melting exercise or b

It's fascinating how difficult a task it seems to be for cameras to shoot at even moderately "non-ideal" conditions. Over- and underexposure, motion blur, focus, chromatic aberration... red eyes... It seems like a straight-fo
