I would then argue that there was (still is?) a massive marketing failure, probably because there was a greater focus on marketing to companies than users. My perspective is that I was pretty into VRChat at the time and found no compelling

The more I think about this the funnier it is. A third party app built by two guys is so much better than the official Reddit app that people are willing to pay actual money for it... and his response is to throw shade at the developrs?

FWIW Foundry isn't that much different than their government products. It's just a platform for data management and analysis.

Immorality is a tricky subject but the original commenter was specifically talking about illegality. Whatever your feelings about Palantir's business (and the defense contracting business as a whole) I don't think there's any

Depends on what media you're reading I suppose. Quite a lot of it paints SF is a city of haves and have-nots which fits nicely into the above poster's experience.

Sounds like throwing gasoline into the fire. Housing prices are high because of supply and demand... so CA wants to use taxpayer money to increase demand?

Meh. The most important thing about React is you have to think like React wants you to. It's a very pattern-oriented type of development I haven't seen much of elsewhere. Most of the footguns listed in this article are things you
