What you eat affects how much you want to eat and how much energy your body expends, which is why "eat fewer calories than you expend" is overly simplistic. I'm sure you've come across this argument before, so I don't understand the confusi

In Austin, the transit authority wanted to ban smoking at bus stops, but they only have the authority to do so on their own property. The vast majority of bus stops are on city property instead, so they just put up "no smoking" signs at all

Plenty of services will let you forward your mail to a normal GMail account. Without an SMTP server, your GMail account will still be visible to your recipients, but it's not so bad.

There are so many alternative explanations for that sentence. Your confidence in your conclusion is shocking, and your willingness to throw around such allegations with so little evidence is repugnant.

My PayPal strategy, which I'd reuse for Coinbase et al, is to just create a separate checking account for that with a few clicks. I think the most they can screw me over is one or two overdraft fees before I tell my bank to stop ACH transac

Don't all Google products support application specific passwords? Without built-in support for two-factor auth, it's cumbersome since you have to generate a password on your own, but anything with a password box works.

These laws don't require AirBnB hosts to purchase insurance. They outlaw renting out their homes. An argument based on the need for insurance doesn't justify the laws.
