Interesting! This would sort of explain the low energy of the human demonstrator in the video "Take 488... action!"

Great question. Boston Dynamics has been demoing the pre-baked dance routine for 2+ decades at this point. Really hoping we can evolve past it.

The ability to translate between text to servo movement is unreal, and it looks like gpt4 vision + whisper are heavily used. They're also using the term "reasoning" which is... new. Can you call this an AI wrapper company? Ki

I wouldn't say it's unusual. Whenever I read a good book, see a great film, or appreciate an art piece, I try to track down the creator to send them a note of thanks. I'd say maybe 30% reply? That said, I can't imagine c

It's not a viewport meta tag. It's { touch-action: manipulation; }. And it doesn't work consistently. Very easy to break it if you double tap on the background and not somewhere in the text, for example. Thanks for your... en

Makes total sense! I basically did whatever chatgpt told me, which was Swift with UIKit, and Storyboards for the interface design. Took me a bit to learn some of the conventions and syntax, but they've come a long way in making it much

Nice and clean! As a fellow web slinger, I recently went down the road of trying to build a simple veggie tracker as a PWA. I realized pretty quickly that the PWA world still feels like a hacky mess, with weird CSS rules to make it feel mor

The choice facing many companies that insist on remaining "open" is: Do you want to 1. be right or 2. stay in business This is one of the reasons why OpenAI pivoted to be closed. Not bc of greedy value extractors; because it was t

Because the point is to listen, not solve problems. If you told me "ugh today was a really hard day at work" and I said "why don't you quit? then you wouldn't have hard days at work anymore!" would you feel hea

Without their permission, absolutely. This is in the context of coaching in which there is an agreement that yes, you may be observed pretty intensely. It does feel vulnerable, and it's up to the coach to make the person feel safe.

That would still be listening level 1. If you're asking questions and worried about how it makes you look, that's focusing on yourself. My examples don't come across good via text; I would edit more fleshed out ones if I coul

I would not say fast is better than slow when it comes to thinking. It's not something to compensate for. It's like with breaking news. Do you want to be first, or correct? The two are usually at odds, and serve different purposes
