That assumes time to wash is linear to surface area. It is harder for heavy people though to wash themselves tho, harder to reach everything including tools, more tools required, more time spent not actively washing while the water runs.

Shelly products are (mostly) esp32 based with very open architecture. I figure in 20 years, they will either be dead or still working, no middle ground of "manufacturer went under" because the toolchain is open.

Every machine I get my hands on gets Search Everything and Terra Copy. I usually start new machines by installing some stuff through https://ninite.com because Windows still doesn't have a proper package manager.

I honestly enjoy these. My rocket didn't explode, it "spontaneously disassembled" mid flight. That deployment that pushed me beyond my physical and emotional limits, of which I may never recover, was "challenging".

The other problem is wire size, since the amps go up as volts go down, and the heat generated in the wire is proportional to the amps, not the watts. So to carry the same power, a lower voltage wire has to be thicker.

by mtreis86 3y ago
Yep. Running the wires once is a big pain but it is linear at worst, more devices requires more wires, maybe even log growth since you can branch at junction boxes that already exist. Changing the batteries once a year is only a little pain
