I don't think React is the problem here. I think communication and leadership is where fault lies. 1. Why hire a team of non-webdevs to do webdev. (on 2nd read, it appears they wanted to use the same team from the WPF app... ¯\_(ツ)_&#x

It makes it seem really bad when you say "Government takes". The truth is, you're contributing back to people and the system which let you make and run a business that makes millions starting in your 20s.

I don't agree... I think browsers are not the weak link here. I'll agree they have a large attack surface, but the communication channel needs to be secure regardless of what client receives it. > the most an attacker can do

Hmm, I wonder if there could be an interesting incentive alignment with the transaction of charging cars as they drive along a highway and collecting a tax for improving it. There are other comments about political feasibility, but what if

I think the main idea distinguishing grassroots vs astroturfing is the idea that grassroots campaigns are about individuals deciding to self organize around and idea. It's ok if that idea came from somewhere else, but the organization

So, when the jsx is compiled for react onClick={foo} is really just part of an object: `{ onClick: foo }` which is actually using the token. Believe me, I agree to an extend its a matter of taste, but I too like that my underlying understa

I agree, I'm a react dev and I think Vue, and others, are great. All of them are approaching the same problem from different directions and paths. If each discovers something new and useful, the others can decide if it would be a good

It's cool if tooling helps with this. Thats important. I'm mixed on vue because of the string bindings. I really like to know where my variables are coming from and really hate when two dependent uses but not actually the same

I have been doing React development for a good amount of time now and I really like what hooks allow. It does diverge a bit from classic OO ideas though, which can be tricky to wrap your head around the first time. Hooks do a good job of n

This is specifically elements which are allowed in the `head` element of the document. I recently read somewhere that for backwards compatibility reasons no new element types can be added within `head`. This causes a lot of overloading on

Yeah, I’m not surprised at all by this. I get that there are a lot of weird things in JS but I don’t think this is a JS oddity. Surprise! You need to know the basics of how your language works.

I see both sides also, I think its probably not good for society to be able to amass huge amounts of debt, I think the ability to get large mortgages is part of why housing prices are so astronomical. People are buying and selling at huge v

Thanks, I did miss that it was a "Secured Credit Card"... but again, banks have offered those forever... It feels more like an ad than news.

I would agree with the complaint, but I'm surprised, and somewhat can't believe you don't have something similar "over there". (I don't know where over there is, of course.) The problem is that the credit syste

If you discover a better pattern, it might be easier to convert across the application if the same pattern is followed everywhere. So you might consider this a win.

It wouldn’t hurt to add some cultural diversity to the characters. I know they’re editable so “I could do it”, but I think it would enhance the main landing page to show some examples... as well as make it more inclusive for the audience.
