"...but to suggest that it has the same impact as Facebook's photo sharing offering is completely ludicrous." The point of Benedict's tweet, which is not associated with the analysis in any way, is merely a way to look a

Their fanatical race to be there on day one of every new appstore launch, and ride the promotion that entailed was brilliant for the time.

I appreciate that he's had success, and what he's accomplished is nothing short of impressive. But to say that there are only a handful of people who can figure it out is sheer hubris.

The problem is that the teen audience is fickle and doesn't want to be commingled with adults. So if Snapchat grows massively, they're going to have to deal with that reality. Some people are worried about the ads and monetization

The CPC's on LinkedIn are really high (for self serve anyway) which make ROI really hard except for high LTV products/services. I can get clicks on Facebook similarly targeted for <$0.10 for what LI charged $4.

Agreed. I also like the bulk uploader and power editor. It's easy to launch 200 variations of ads in a matter of minutes.

He really does. The talk he gave at Mozcon 2012 basically fried the audience's brain. And the way he combines targeting w/cross-platform marketing is unreal.

A few things: 1) Facebook allows you to do some ridiculous targeting, that when combined with retargeting can create some powerful stuff. Check out Marty Weintraub and your head will explode. 2) Our Facebook ads (esp. retargeting w/per

Love how they used Qualaroo to harness visitor intent through a thoughtful combination of implementation rules and question asking. 500% is an epic win by any measure.

Thanks @cosmie — we worked really hard to make it as comprehensive as we could, and wanted to build on the work of lots of other really smart people that have already put a ton of great stuff on CRO out there.

You definitely want to watch the spam rate complaints of these emails vs. your normal sends. Companies like SailThru won't let you (or strongly discourage) using their mail server and IPs to send friend referral emails because they get dunn

Very cool. I was skeptical but your page did a nice job of showing benefits and differentiating yourself from other providers. Thanks for sharing and good luck. I'll be sure to try it out in the near future.

I disagree. Value isn't always driven just through single-user use cases. If you focused on making "Draw Something" with a strong single-user focus you'd have a dud. I would argue that to think of single-user first and then bolt on network
