Yeah, Slavic languages are hard but there is an ICU standard that's somewhat usable https://devpal.co/icu-message-editor/?data=Zarezerwowa%C5%82...

Yes, communism is horrible, I totally agree. What I am alluding to is that some form of social democracy can bring long term stability, thus minimizing the risk of people radicalizing.

There is no science in psychology, period. By nature of dealing with humans you can't really run thorough experiments like on rats. On top of of that, psychology is mired with quackery, big egos and partisanship (nature vs nurture, CBB

Maybe if we don't strip poor people of any chance of getting out of poverty they won't turn to communism. If you chase an animal in the corner, it will fight back. You can shoot it and win but don't be surprised if the situat

This is not how European market operates. As a consumer, I can't visit every factory to check if the pasta isn't tainted with lead, if the chicken meat isn't full of antibiotics and hormones and if the webapp I am using isn&#

I don't know how much this is based on science but our history (and popular) books about ice age always depicted a hunting method that involves a dug out pit with spikes. Then the hunters would chase the animal and steer it towards the

RST might be technologically superior but markdown is easy to write and has a huge ecosystem. For hobby usage, use whatever. But I would strongly oppose anyone who would try to make RST standard at my workplace. A scrum-master, PO or market

Fun quiz, I enjoyed it but it's far from any scientific rigor the substack author claims... it's a slightly better astrology horoscope.

I guess it depends on what level of finesse you are aiming for. My mom makes a pretty good pizza (better than many commercials joints) in regular home gas oven. But the work is there: you need to knead the dough properly and let it rest for

For good pizza you need high quality but basic ingredients. Theoretically you could grow your own tomatoes and basil and bake something reasonable at home (although the store bought cheese was shit and making your own is hard). In practice

Yeah I grew up in this broader region as well and my blood boils when I read tankies on Reddit claiming how much life was better than nowadays or in the west. There's only one life aspect I might concede. Ugly "commie blocks"

I am with you, let's get bashed as Euro-snobs. I listen to electronic music for 25+ years, different genres and I never grokked what exactly is EDM. To me it's a vague hodgepodge of mainstream pruduction spanning anything from Gue

I would expect a bit more in-depth article from Martin Fowler website. The shown implementation is naive and prone to bugs, for example a race condition. If this id is rapidly changed (say from 1->2), and the first request arrives last,

Make sense. They can't easily delete your photos/data from the model if you file a GDPR request for removal. Someone should go after them even if they don't publish it in EU, the fact of publishing shouldn't matter.

It is not nonsense, DPRK poorness is majorly self-inflicted: - they were actually economically ahead of South Korea after war, despite embargoes (granted they had USSR back then) - they border with China, absolutely massive economy where yo

Yes, PM to me stands for product _management_ so management issue. Same for engineering - it doesn't mean just individual contributors, there's someone managing the engineering as well.
