And thank you for writing the networking guide. I found it in my early teens when I was interested in learning programming and wanted to go beyond the basics to do some more interesting stuff. It helped me write some chatroom bots for thing

Same here, started my first fully remote job semi-recently. I've got a nice quiet area to work and the worst interruption I get is maybe my dog drops in for some pets. The productivity and satisfaction remind me of when I was way young

Any recommendations for sites/services to look at job openings that aren't obvious? Or are you seeing these through your network or something?

This was an interesting post to me because I've never heard of that distinction, and I think I'm similar. I've often had issues with "being tired" but it's probably more accurately what you call languor. I'

I'm going to be looking soon, any tips that've been working for you so far? What sites were you looking on? Were you requesting interview type up front or just applying to ones that mention it, etc.?

I didn't say _sit_ and chill, I just said chill and don't want politics to be the cornerstone of the friendship or something that comes up often. Partisan politics is extremely prominent here and I have no end of places to discuss

Thanks for the response. That's been kind of my experience too (hard to keep them when not close / with something in common). I suppose I'll need to find a new hobby at some point here and meet people that way.
