It drives me crazy it can't remember where I'm at when I refresh and then automatically collapses the code, too. If you know a way around that, I would love to know.

I just don't like Chrome, for one. But, I really like the scrolling, pinch to zoom, swipe to go backwards, bookmark syncing across my multiple computers, etc. The inspector, as flawed as it is, has some nice features. I don't ha

It feels like OSX will be on Mavericks before the Lion scroll bars are supported in Firefox. I've been using Safari a lot lately. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the inspector. It's easily the worst of all the browsers, but

As someone who supports his own WordPress plugin, FAQs are like sanity pills. You can only repeat yourself so many times before you get tired of it, even if you have a canned response. Having an FAQ allows you to let the user help themselv

Wow, I'm a little surprised at this considering the arguments Apple's legal team made. Seemed pretty clear to me there was nothing that Apple did to force Amazon to raise their prices.

This. Kintek was clearly inspired by what Infinum did, especially on some of the graphical elements. But they both appear, on a code level, to be Twitter Bootstrap. Infinum definitely needs to get over themselves.

I love Firefox. But, it's about damn time to remove the scroll bars on Mac OS X. This was a Lion feature and we're almost two versions removed from that.

Right now, I'm in a "wait and see" approach for my Google Reader alternative. It's a bigger decision than at first glance, especially if you rely on phone apps for consuming.

Addresses, like phone numbers, are difficult to normalize. The best you can do is hit the 80/20 rule: provide a solution for most addresses/phone numbers out there and minimize the edge cases.

It doesn't matter what type of DVD is playing. It could be one you made yourself and this limitation would still be in place.

The main problem I see with these types of layouts is that if you are displaying reverse chronological content, it needs to be in a single column. Items that have no bearing on when it was posted, i.e. Pintrest, can adapt just fine to this

This has nothing to do with CSS3. Wikipedia still looks good because it uses tables for layout. It's worthy of IE 5.5's good graces at that point.

Said another way: you need to practice. This is just how you get good at things. Same with code. Just go out and build something. Iterating upon the idea is what's important and you code can get better as you go.
