I love Firefox. But, it's about damn time to remove the scroll bars on Mac OS X. This was a Lion feature and we're almost two versions removed from that.

- AaronMT 13y agoNot a whole lot of Mac OSX dev's contributing to the project these days. Doing what we can.
- Yoric 13y agoActually, it's more "not a whole lot of MacOSX devs contributing to the UX these days." Plenty of MacOS X devs contributing everywhere else.
- msujaws 13y agoThe scrollbars are fixed in version 23. Download Firefox Beta, Aurora, or Nightly and you will get them :)
- mmuro 13y agoThat's fantastic! I guess it's coming in July or August?
- sp332 13y agoYup, Firefox is on a 6-week release cycle so it should be in the first week of August. (Right now 22 is "release", 23 is "beta", 24 is "aurora" and 25 is "nightly".)
- bzbarsky 13y ago23 is early August. https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar has all the dates.
- abrowne 13y agoThey're in Nightly[1]. I've been running UX nightly[2] for the new tab design for a few months with little to no issues with stability. - dschep 13y agoThe UI looks identical to me. It's supposed to be like this right? http://people.mozilla.com/~shorlander/files/australis-designSpecs/australis-designSpecs-linux-mainWindow.html http://people.mozilla.com/~shorlander/files/australis-design...
- abrowne 13y agoYes, roughly. I used the Mac version at home this morning. I haven't used the Linux one for a couple weeks, but it looked like that when I did. You're sure you're using the UX nightly? The normal nightly doesn't have the new tab design.
- dschep 13y agoI did. My old firefox instance must've been lingering around and then the remote behavior made it just launch a new window in that.
- pnathan 13y agoI generally put the scrollbars back in on my OSX installation.
