Ah, I didn't know that MSN did that. But the point I was trying to make is that if they say not enough people are using it that means it's not financially viable to keep operating (see: Google Reader).

Don't be surprised if Google Talk goes away. What's it to them if they can't sell you ads while you chat?

The jsfiddle style looks good, but how does that work with multiple files on the page? Do you select the files you want to work with? Not sure if it's possible, but I think it'd be cool to highlight which lines have been live edited. One bi

I have all of the Reeder apps (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and I'm heavily invested in this app's future. So, I guess I'm just waiting to see what is coming. I'd go with Fever but Reeder only syncs with them on the iPhone only .

The two things that I'd want to see are a Network tab and a better way to edit the HTML. Adding to the HTML is a must-have in my opinion, not just editing what's already there.

It's not a bait and switch - that's hyperbole at its finest. It's just something you don't like that you weren't notified about but still optional .

It's a cop-out to call Google an engineering company like they are still the small company that is just a search engine. If they want to be a consumer electronics company, they should probably start acting like one and have actual humans de

Ugh. Being from Alabama, this is just sad. But, I guess unsurprising given the majority demographic here. I really hope this election can help move this area of the country forward because this kind of attitude has never helped the South.

This is good, I guess? I have never understood (even when I was a Windows user) why they locked most of their browser upgrades to the OS. This is perhaps the greatest reason why their market share falls every year.

If you don't want to wait for the DOMReady event, you can always write it like so: (function($) { // $() will work as an alias for jQuery() inside of this function })(jQuery);

Here's a good summary of what's great about .ready(): http://docs.jquery.com/Tutorials:Introducing_$%28document%29... Basically, this is what makes it so great: Everything that you stick inside its brackets is ready to go at the earliest
