Your IDE should help you with the argument order if that's an issue for you. It has never been a problem for me and I don't understand the argument. I get that it might be confusing the few first times you use these functions, but

I'm not a fan of the void argument syntax. Wouldn't something like the code below work? We already do it with `strict_types=1`. <?php declare(strict_args=1);

ADHD is a spectrum of traits. Which ones do you experience? I’ve learned to think of everything as a feature—not an advantage or disadvantage, but simply a characteristic. Some features are beneficial in certain situations, while others may

Interesting, I wonder if it's common for people who don't need much sleep. I need 5ish hours of sleep(usually less) and I feel that regular workouts (7 days a week, 60 min runs) help me clear brain fog a lot.

You won't know until you try it. From your own description, you feel pressure when someone watches you, so the effect is present. Maybe all you need is a friendly environment. If body doubling with us isn't for you, you might try

Motivation is overrated [1]. If you've been searching for it for weeks or months without success, stop looking. Chances are, you won't find it. Even if you're super hyped about the end goal, the steps needed to reach it can b

For me, it's body doubling, but for you, it might be something completely different. The method that works for you depends on why and how you delay tasks (and you need to consider both separately). Once you understand your "why&qu

> Finishing, as in will power, focus, and vision, is like a muscle that you can take to the gym. That's not true, at least not for many procrastinators. I've been a procrastinator my whole life. It wasn’t until my mid-30s that

Adages are great, and they work for some people. They’re so simple and can provide just the right amount of motivation to get started. What’s interesting is that people respond to different adages, even when they’re quite similar. For examp

It absolutely can work for task initiation. It's less effective for maintaining momentum, but initiating a task is often all people need to resume being productive. I remember watching Rambo 2 (or maybe it was Rambo 3) as a young kid,

Unfortunately, this doesn't address the reason someone procrastinated in the first place.

It was a stupid, stupid decision on WP's part. After reading it, the first thing I did was to make sure that I and all WP sites I have access to had automatic updates disabled. This always seemed like a good policy to me, as it is such

Do you procrastinate because you’re unable to focus on work, or simply because you can? If it’s the latter, then it’s not really procrastination.

This is not true. WordPress routes request in its own, admittedly shitty way, but it has a router. I don't remember where it is, but it exists. It parses rewrite rules and matches them against the request URI.
