As a non US person. Can someone explain the innovation of this? What should be better here? Is there anything I have missed? As I understand from the Wikileaks cables, the American government prevented Russia to establish their own credit c

I met Vaclav Smil 3 years ago in Zurich and talked with him. He told me, he doesn't believe in climate change. I find that very odd. His books might still be good so.

I am pretty much impressed by the January spike / trend. This is kind of mirroring the growth potential behind these products. Just by a rise in awareness. Somewhat something I believe is slowly developing globally - that people become

Most animal produce is only a good source of B12 because the animals have been supplemented themselves. Lack of B12 is more an effect of industrialization of the food production. Less of the type of diet you choose.

Twitter is a simple technology that connects people, and the current presidency is IMO not their fault. Twitter just brought up to the surface what was already there but hidden. I am sorry that everyone now has to go through a lot of pain w

Indeed. Organic beef has more CO₂, because it is about twice as long on the field (and releases therefor more methane into the air). Things become questionable - chickens are way better on CO2/kg of meat, because they are cramped into

51% includes also respiration of cows, which should be net zero, because it is exactly the CO₂ that was captured by the plants before. (which is not okay to do) Also 51% because equivalent calculations are not done over the span of 100 year

As I do understand, conventions manifest often in the setting of defaults for configurations. These defaults are inherently opinionated, and therefor hinder the free development of innovation in a open source community. As it will always fa

And in actually announcing this commitment now, that this one would be the final hardware, could also be just forced, as they need to sell it to all the people getting cars now with temporary less functionality.

he delays announcement, just to do the write up right.

by mklarmann 10y ago
yes, that is why this announcement was necessary. Otherwise people would have been confused with their new cars.

It was already announced before, that the hardware is included. And it was clear, that it is meant to be used for autonomous driving. And as they do not have autonomous driving yet, this is indeed just hot air... How would they know it is c
