I'm a big fan of Corridor. One of my goals if I can get this working well would be to reach out to them and see if they'd want to test it out, actually! I'm super excited and getting closer every week to making the thing act

They waste time and lower information density, and also, for the few people who do notice them, they get very irritating. Getting rid of filler words where natural is pretty standard practice for longer-form videos.

Oh, makes sense. I do know improved dense mesh editing performance is on the roadmap for 3.1 - 3.3 era, so at least there's that :)

Hi HN! 5 months ago I posted here asking about where I could learn about ML, and got some great recommendations. This is my first blog post about what I've done since then. My model isn't an MVP yet, but it's very close, and

This is superb. Obviously it's just a tech demo, but I'm optimistic for 3D printed houses in general in the near future. Exciting stuff!

Totally agree. Blender does feel a little thinly-spread at times. In being ultra-flexible it's also not quite fully featured in many of its workflows. For someone like me, who just does generalist and VFX work, it's fantastic, but

Maybe for a very specific workflow, but you don't need paid addons to be productive in general. I've put together quite a few massive projects quickly in Blender without spending a cent -- I'm sure those addons are extremely

Reminds me of the characters Raava and Vaatu from Nickelodeon's Legend of Korra. I love how crisp and sharp the lines are, and the amount of detail is spectacular!

This is super interesting, would be awesome to have this implemented in, say, Blender and other common 3D software. Exciting stuff!

I highly recommend the YouTube channel PBS Space Time's coverage of this, it's informative, well organized, and accessible even to someone like me who doesn't have any background in physics.

It seems absolutely wild to me that there are cases where you can prune 90% of neurons and still get a functional network out the other side. I'm definitely interested in experimenting with some of these techniques myself soon!

Have you looked at the stuff Ian Hubert makes with Blender? I’d definitely classify the kind of work he does with blender as indie cg golden age. Seriously, though, Blender is incredible, and I really really enjoy using it frequently on my

That would be catastrophic for TikTok from a business perspective, as they'd lose 30% of their content overnight. In my experience, most 16+ year olds are quite capable handling themselves on social media.

I know this can all be circumvented by changing the age connected to one's account, but I genuinely would be fairly concerned if this applies to existing accounts. I'll speak with my youngest brother and ask him of his account h
