You're already posting a public review, does it really matter if it also gets posted to Google+? I guess I don't have any objections to it because I'm not aware of anyone from my group of friends that actually uses Google+.

Apple has pretty decent margins on all their devices. I don't think they need a $10,000 watch to fund R&D.

Having to squint is not a solution, especially if you have poor eye sight. Using both hands is a minor convenience at best.

You could just use both your hands. A very small problem compared to all the benefits of a bigger screen.

I didn't comment on battery life because it is almost impossible to measure since it depends on many factors. Charging time on the other hand is easy to measure. The Galaxy S5 charges very quickly compared to other phones. I'm not

From my memory the only games which ended up using shadow volumes were Doom 3 and games based on the Doom 3 engine. Shadow maps always seemed like the way forward to me. That is purely based on my own "what looks better" scale. Gi

Personally I would skip any job ad that asked for "10x programmers", or ninjas or whatever else is popular right now.

As someone that uses PostgreSQL, would you care to elaborate on the topic? I haven't used MS SQL Server so maybe if you can actually provide some useful information we can start a discussion and learn something new.

Have you tried Today Calendar? There are plenty of alternatives. I do agree that the new calendar is pretty crappy on a phone.

Is there any way to sync my contacts/calendar such that they are available outside of the Fastmail app? For me that is the only reason I haven't completely switched over to Fastmail. There doesn't appear to exist a nice solut

I was under the impression that a late-2013 MBP does support HiDPI with 4K displays. Is it a hardware issue or a software one?

I have given up on Windows laptops myself. As a developer the Macbook Air is the best laptop I've ever owned. I sold it recently and am waiting to receive a 13" Macbook Pro because I needed more RAM and space. The biggest issues I

Twitter doesn't need to go away. I feel I'm not missing out on much by not using Twitter. Facebook is sort of forced upon me because I'd miss on a bunch of social activities if I didn't use it. With Twitter it exists and

I think anyone that is even a little bit serious about their particular exercise/activity will not use this. I cycle and run. I record everything in Strava. Most of my friends do too. I can't really see a reason to use this. Count

That is not true though. You can easily reduce the amount of food you eat by changing what you eat. Try to eat a diet high in fat and low in carbs. You'll find it extremely difficult to over eat. Then try the opposite, high carb and lo

You kind of contradict yourself then. Or are you saying eating high protein in the solution for everybody? I find eating high fat to work for me.

I use Alien Blue on my iPad Mini and it is the best Reddit app for iOS that I've tried. Oddly enough I find the Android Reddit Sync app to be quite a bit better and easier to use. I say oddly enough because it's probably the only

That's extremely exaggerated. What phone did you need to find a "manufacturer-specific toolset"? I'm not even sure what you are referring to. In fact starting on Android is significantly easier than iOS. Enable debugging
