Personal anecdote: I have Graves disease, and it didn't flare up until a couple years after I finished immune therapy for a variety of severe allergies. The allergies are much better! But my immune system got bored, or something. Corre

I think this is a conversation worth having, but personally I haven't made any decisions. There are a few interesting names on there though, from VOX, The New York Review of Books, and In Our Times. I think the community just needs to

It's actually different per state - different laws and levels of enforcement. Some states you can't drive off the lot without a plate, others give temporary ones. That makes selling cars faster, in a state with a terrible Dept. of

I know a few women personally who have blatantly told me that they are suspicious of any man they see near their kid's park. They haven't ever mentioned confronting anyone, but they've both said that they watch them.

Not saying that it wouldn't be an issue at older ages as well, since for millenia children learned by watching the other people around them and learning from them, not from screens. That's my essential point - that's utterly

Seconded - I stopped drinking anything sweeter than kombucha about 10 years ago, and now soda is utterly disgusting. My coffee and tea are unsweetened, and if I drink orange juice, I water it down to 1 part juice, 3 or 4 parts water. Sugar

Some college libraries are open to the public as well, and are often really amazing spaces. I grew up going to one with multiple levels of sub-basements, and even as a kid, I just enjoyed the sense of it. Like a secret that only I knew abou

Every time our son cries, our cat runs to him - from the time he was a baby to now. We can't decide if it's a maternal instinct to "make sure the baby is ok" or if she just needs to know about everything going on in the
