Point in case - my 75-yr-old retired parents staff one of those church showers in one of the most affluent towns south of SF. They have time, because they're retired. The people using those showers can't volunteer, they have jobs

I wish. I got a Dell laptop for work and they've replaced the right Ctrl key with a Copilot key, and (because it's a locked-down work sysyem) the only thing I can remap that to is the Windows menu. And I keep hitting it out of mus

Some of us knew it, but it's getting worse. And I've worked adjacent to or on marketing teams for the the last decade... and I can't explain why but my theory is they all trust the numbers implicitly, esp. the ad spend. Havin

My mom once opened the wrong '89 Dodge Caravan when grocery shopping in the early nineties, and it wasn't until she got in to drive that she realized it wasn't hers. She said the seat was too far back and then she actually st

Thank you for making this podcast, not just this post, but all of it. I now know how I will be participating in the creation of reality for the foreseeable future (at least as it applies to my local experience of it).
