Well damn, I literally replaced my battery after the 32 red blinks of death a couple weeks ago. I don’t have the old one anymore either. Grr. This would’ve been a fun alternative.

Funny thing is that I have never typed in a repo to delete. I always just copy/paste from the message. It's probably what the repo owner did. Perhaps Github should generate an image instead of using text that can be copied. That w

I don’t see this behavior on either my iPad or iPhone. They both are using about 12 MB of document storage space. I’ve been using Signal for years. My chats all expire in 1 hour, perhaps that feature delete’s correctly. Note: Twitter, on th

Encarta was awesome. It felt like it had a wealth of information on a cd-rom. It was quite magical in the early 90s. I miss those days. All of it.

Stop spreading FUD. This isn't happening, there was a case that was overblown and rectified. This just doesn't happen. FSD goes with the car on private sales.

If I left a company, where I had access to internal betas, yes I would expect the company to revoke access if I were terminated.

The most accessible runtime on the planet. To each their own. I loathe JS, but I also believe english is a crap language. English happens to be the only language I can effectively use to describe my ideas to others. :-)

Insta buy. I love my SICP book. Need this for fun, perspective to teach juniors, and shelf art. Yes, I pre-ordered. For those complaining about it being in JS, probably didn’t read SICP as it wasn’t about LISP. This isn’t about JS.

Clojure has to do the same thing to interface with Java: https://clojure.github.io/clojure/javadoc/clojure/lang/IFn.h...

How could it? The log level is not a constant. It is evaluated at runtime, every time. You can’t compile that out. Am I wrong?

I was wondering how soon someone would try to trash Tesla (or Elon) as it's completely off-topic and a false equivalence. I see a lot of Teslas on the road, as I also drive one. I see a lot of Superchargers around, and see (yup, I trus

Might as well just generate a PNG. The text is too small for me on a mobile device. PDFs main goal was print. The fonts are awful for the screen and no ability to reflow the text. I can deal with things moving around, I don't need spat

Yeah, 10 second load time, tiny text on a mobile device. No thanks. Sucks that people went for over-styling every site making everything painful to publish. I’d be happy with 90’s static HTML, and a few images when needed. I seek informatio

I agree that such reports are suspect and one should be absolutely skeptical of such things. I'm not saying this report is incorrect, but we need independent studies to support or refute such claims. Until then, I take it as a "Th
